Based on my research, the 2 disadvantage of YES Power are as below.

1. No Gas and No Broadband service
2. There are some power companies with higher customer satisfaction

3-1. No Gas and No Broadband service

YES Power’s plan is only for Electricity at this moment.

So, if you need gas and/or broadband together, YES Power may not be suit for you.

As far as I tried, I could not find any survey and data about YES Power’s customer satisfaction in 2021.

But, based on the survey “Customer Satisfaction with power companies” by Consumer NZ in 2021, “Powershop” is No.1 among major power companies in NZ.
